Thrill seekers young and old can now purchase heavily discounted entry tickets to an Essex theme-park, thanks to an ‘everybody wins’ initiative between Southend’s Adventure Island, Danbury Park School and the Co-op store in Danbury, owned by Chelmsford Star Co-operative.
Essex’s number 1 theme park, which reopens for the winter season on February 15th, is providing the Danbury community with greatly reduced tickets that can be used at any point in the year, and the good news is that every time one is purchased from the local store, the nearby school will earn money.
Nicky, from the Danbury Park School Association, said, “Every time an Adventure Island Wristband voucher is sold in our local co-op, it will raise money for us which we can use to buy educational items that will benefit everyone at the school. Everybody wins! We’d like to say a big thank you to all at Chelmsford Star Co-op and Adventure Island for their support in this fundraising venture”.
Entry tickets, which are normally £32 for anyone under 1.2 metres tall, are available in the store for just £15. And just £18 for anyone over that height.
