Danbury food store to receive major refurbishment

As part of our refit strategy, we are going to refit our Main Road, Danbury store.

The store will close from Saturday 8th October at 5pm and will re-open on Thursday 20th October at 10am.

There will also be a temporary essentials store, selling milk, newspapers and tobacco; this is be open from Monday 10th October at 7am and will trade for the following hours:

 Monday – Saturday: 7am – 7pm

 Sunday: 10am – 4pm

Co-op chops imported meat as it backs British farmers

The Co-op has extended its commitment to back UK farmers by switching all of its fresh bacon and lamb to 100% British.

The new sourcing initiative will make the Co-op the only major UK food retailer to stock 100% own-brand fresh British beef, chicken, pork, lamb, bacon and turkey. It is already the only retailer to use British meat in all its chilled ready meals, pies and sandwiches.

Society Interim Meeting will take place on Monday 10th October

Dorothy Perkins & Wallis join Chelmsford Quadrant department store

Quadrant Chelmsford are delighted to announce the introduction of popular high street fashion brands, Dorothy Perkins and Wallis to our department store.

Since the beginning of 2016, the store itself has been undergoing an extensive facelift and has introduced numerous new labels to its portfolio including Sandwich, Gerry Weber, Betty Barclay, Great Plains, Crew Clothing, Esprit, Vero Moda and most recently, Phase Eight.

 

Quadrant Chelmsford opens Phase Eight brand

Quadrant Chelmsford are delighted to announce the introduction of fashion brand, Phase Eight to our department store.

Since the beginning of 2016, the store itself has been undergoing an extensive facelift and has introduced numerous new labels to its portfolio including Sandwich, Gerry Weber, Betty Barclay, Great Plains, Crew Clothing, Esprit and Vero Moda.

Chelmsford Star Acquires a New Food Store in Dagenham

Essex based Co-operative Society; Chelmsford Star has recently acquired another convenience food store on Wood Lane in Dagenham. This brings the Society’s portfolio of convenience food stores to thirty nine.

The 2000 square foot store will be branded The Co-operative Wood Lane and will not only stock a selection of convenience ranges but offer services including National Lottery, PayPoint, and an ATM.

The staff at store which previously traded as an independent Nisa, have all been retained.

Quadrant to Hold a Huge Furniture Clearance Sale

Quadrant department stores are to hold a huge clearance of furniture at the Chelmsford City Race Course near Great Leighs over the August Bank Holiday period. It will run from Friday 26th August to Monday 29 August inclusive and between the hours of 10am – 4pm.

5000 square foot of space will be filled with beds, mattresses, upholstery, cabinets, dining, carpet remnants and more. Most items are from leading brands such as Alstons, Ercol, Harrisons, GPlan, Hypnos, Parker Knoll and Willis & Gambier.
