Responsible to;     Store Manager

Authority:             Store Personnel

Principal Duties

  1. To manage and motivate the store personnel in the absence of the Manager/Deputy Manager.
  2. To ensure a high level of customer service to all customers is maintained.
  3. To ensure employees replenish shelves correctly and maintain stock rotation in accordance with Society policy and procedures.
  4. To maintain the required level of presentation.
  5. To ensure temperatures are taken and recorded and any remedial action taken.
  6. To ensure all end of day procedures are followed and that the store is left secured with all alarms set.
  7. To ensure compliance with all legal requirements e.g. Licensing Laws.
  8. To abide by the Society Health and Safety policy.
  9. To ensure wastage and reductions are actioned in accordance with the Society reduction policy.
  10. To carry out other duties as may be required by the business from time to time.
