This year’s Fairtrade Fortnight takes place from Monday 22 September – Sunday 5 October 2025, and Chelmsford Star Co-op is proud to stand alongside the UK-wide movement calling for a fairer system behind the food and goods we consume every day.
For 30 years, we’ve been committed to championing Fairtrade – ensuring that farmers and workers around the world are paid fairly, treated with respect, and supported in building more sustainable futures for their families and communities.
Why Fairtrade matters
With global challenges putting immense pressure on people and the planet, fairness is no longer guaranteed. But it is possible – and it starts with the choices we make. Every time you choose a product with the Fairtrade Mark, you’re standing up for:
