Galleywood Heritage Centre’s much loved Easter Egg Hunt takes place this Easter weekend, with over 500 children expected to take part. This is in part due to our annual donation of 500 Cadbury Creme Eggs.
The donation will ensure this year’s event is a chocolate-fuelled success for local families and children, who flock to the Heritage Centre each year for the fun-filled spring tradition. This year, the event will include bunny hunts, sweet cones and live music, with refreshments served from their newly converted horse-box cafe.
“We’re thrilled to support this annual event that brings so much joy to local families,” said Head of Membership for Chelmsford Star, Kevin Bennett. “As a co-operative, we’re always proud to help the communities we serve and give back.”
The Easter Egg Hunt is a popular highlight in Galleywood’s calendar, combining outdoor fun, some local history, and treats for all ages. This year’s event is expected to attract over 500 families and takes place on Good Friday from 10am.
Galleywood Heritage Centre expressed heartfelt thanks to Chelmsford Star Co-op for their ongoing support and community spirit.
