Annual General Meeting

As you might expect with the current government-advised restrictions, these times have been classed as 'exceptional circumstances'. In line with our Rules we will be postponing our Annual General Meeting from 11th May.

It will now be held on Monday 5th October, in conjunction with our half-yearly interim meeting. This will once again take place in Council Chambers, at Chelmsford’s Civic Centre.

Our Annual accounts, however, will still be published within the ordinary timescales. You will find these published on our Society website as soon as they are available or, if you'd prefer a hard copy, you can request one by emailing our Society Secretary, Ellen Tredwin, via ellen@chelmsfordstar.coop.

The delay of the AGM also means our members will be unable to approve our proposed dividend conversion rate, so I’m afraid your next share of the profit payment will also be postponed until October.

Member elections are continuing as normal, with nominations now closed. Voting this year will purely be facilitated via post, therefore any member not already on the postal voting register can request a pack via the Secretary's email address above or by calling the Member Hotline: 0800 2540404. As a member, you’ll be more aware than most that Chelmsford Star Co-op is passionate about this community. Right now, community is more important than ever – and so is co-operation.
